West Virginia University and EUSA students explored ways to tell stories by creating digital twins, or 3D models, of real locations in Morgantown and Seville during the 2025 collaboration.
They used AI to develop ideas, log lines and scripts for their fictional projects. Then collaborated to scan locations in Spain and the U.S. that fit the locations in their scripts. The final products were published in multiple formats — traditional video that was manipulated in After Effects for animation, as well as choose-your-own adventure and linear narratives that were interactive and engaging.
